It snowed!!

It snowed at out house on 12/5, making it Camden's first time to see snow! We all took a walk around the block, to enjoy the sights, stopping in to wake up Mina first thing in the morning. Later that day, we picked out our Christmas tree - what a fun day!!

More late September pics

Daddy the birthday boy w/ his babies. Hampton had two falls in the living room, hence the ice pack. All is well, no worries!
This is the sweet angel I had to wake up to pick up Hampton at school this week. Look at her cute little belly hanging over her pants :)
It was so nice and cool this week in the mornings, that Hampton got to wear a light jacket and pants to school! YAY for fall!
Camden's first ride in the stroller like a big girl. We went down the stree to the little park. Unfortunately, someone had left a soda can by the top of the slide and yellow jackets were swarming around it, so we didn't stay long. Hampton's still talking about the "jackets" at the park.

She sits!!

Look at my little precious one! This is the best toy ever! I got it at the consignment sale a couple of weeks ago, paid a whopping $3 for it, and it has been the best investment. She can hold onto it to sit and is becoming such a pro. I remember Hampton's physical therapist telling me that when he could sit unaided for 30 seconds, he could officially sit. Camden was almost there on this day, but she's definitely there now. Josh said she sat the other night by herself almost the whole time I was in the shower, only leaning over to catch herself! Yippee, Camden-girl!

Late September pics of the pumpkins

Hampton loves to "touch her water" when Camden is taking a bath. It helps me that he's interested in it when I'm giving Camden a bath before Josh gets home, so it can keep Hampton occupied. However, the other day, Hampton was my official towel "getter" and holder, and I never got or held the towel; so, you can see, some days he's more interested than others.

Camden's started sitting up in her bathtub! She's such a big girl! A couple of weeks ago, she just started to sit up for Josh when he was giving her a bath, and ever since then, she prefers to sit than to lie back. She's growing up!!
Hampton wanted to sit in his Elmo chair AND in Mombi's lap . . . problem solved!
Camden's first cereal experience. She wasn't such a fan, so we've tried again a couple of times, and I'll try again next week. I'm thinking she just wasn't quite ready yet.
Hampton wears underwear now! Sometimes on just his bottom, and sometimes on his bottom and his top!

Happy 5 months Camden!

McWane Center with Tobs

We went to the McWane Center with Tobs on 9/14 and had a blast! Hampton, Tobs and I all danced on this fun light board, mostly dancing like different animals (penguins, and Hampton's current favorite, the ostrich). Tobs tried to teach Hampton how to do the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever move, but it needs some work. Afterwards, we met Daddy at Chik-fil-A - what a fun morning! I hope the video works - have been trying to upload another one, so let me know if you have problems with this one.

Camden today

Camden's wearing the dress that my friend Scarlett made for her. Isn't she growing up so fast??

Trip to FL

We took a quick trip to Orlando this past weekend to spend some time with Josh's family. On Friday, we took Camden took to the Magic Kingdom for her first trip to WDW! Here we are at the entrance . . . the sun was soooo bright!

Our first attraction was the Walt Disney Railroad. Hampton and I rode together, and Josh and Camden rode together in the way back with the stroller. My tip to everyone would be not to attempt the railroad with a double stroller - trust me :)

Camden's second attraction was the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. This picture was taken when we were leaving the attraction. Camden enjoyed the attraction by drinking some milk.
Our family with the castle on the bridge from Tomorrowland to Main Street.
Hampton, Camden and I waited for Josh to pick us up by the taxi stands. Hampton had fun standing here, and later wanted me to take a picture of his arm - he's quite a silly boy! It started pouring just as Josh arrived with the car.

Hampton had a great time floating and playing in Mamie and Grandy's pool!

Nana holding Camden-girl. She much prefers to be held for a nap than to sleep
in a crib :)

Hampton had a great time playing with the exercise ball at Mamie & Grandy's house!

Cutie pie Hampton bear

Hanging out in the tent in the front yard when we had a picnic a couple of weekends ago.
In his baseball romper that Mombi made, with his constant companion . . . a cell phone.
His first time truly playing in the sprinkler.

My sweet little boy fell asleep in the car on the way home before nap time.
It's Santa! Hamp Hamp loves to make bubble beards in the tub.
Check out the Mickey shades, shirt and shoes. The shirt and shoes light up!

Camden's Baptism

We were so fortunate to have so many family and friends in town for Camden's baptism on June 28th. That Saturday night, we used the grill for the first time at our house (yay Josh!), and enjoyed time chatting with everyone. On Sunday, we actually weren't late for the church service, which was surprising for us. We had wonderful helpers in the bride's room, getting Camden dressed in her most beautiful, elegant dress that Mombi (my Mom) made for her. It is truly gorgeous, as you can see!
